Robbwindow and Friends in Covent Garden – Robert Bridge’s MySpace Blog | Information/education.

Roberto Calvi and Heath Ledger

Roberto Calvi is a banker who hung himself under London Bridge in 1982. It has been mentioned he defrauded Vatican money. His secretary committed suicide too. Heath Ledger died January 22nd 2008. Amongst the rumors; it has been said he died doing his last film. The last film was actually ‘I’m not There’ a film about Bob Dylan directed by Todd Haynes. He did two other films that year ‘Batman Returns’ and one more appropriate for being attributed with Roberto Calvi’s death is the film: The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus.

In this next video is a a brief final interview with Heath Ledger. He talks about his experience working on the new Bob Dylan film and the pressures involved in being an actor for a Hollywood blockbuster film.

The final clip is from the film The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus I watched this film last week at the Prince Charles cinema in Leicester Square and will be writing a review over on Rotten Tomatoes very soon. This film is amazing, quirky, gritty and flows incredibly well. But the scene of the hanging man under the bridge and the symbolic copper throat whistle seemed very familiar, having done more research I now know why. Another ode to the death of a banker I guess. Three good marketing misconceptions in Democracy Now are the way in which marketing is now dealt with. Previously marketing information according to Noam chomsky was given from the Top down. The Top being the country with all the riches. These days it’s still very similar and the messages are just same, but as we shall see in the video below the message is delivered to a new global audience or are willing and able to digest the same old news, in this case a speech from 1983.

The final video highlights the soup sewer system in modern cities. This has been highlighted by Democracy Now as a reason for dumping of maneure from farms. The farms have so many cattle that produce so much waste that the amount of waste is no longer just helping the soil. It’s now contributing to the slight poisining of drinking water, in many states and other countries across the world. The reason for this type of large manuere is partly due to the cattle’s high protein diets and the special pellets that help cattle gain weight more quickly. Could this also be contributing to those who consume the meat become over weight too?
